The Southeast Asian Development at Stanford (SEADS) is a student organization under the authorization of Stanford University, the USA. The objectives of SEADS are to enhance leadership, citizenship and entrepreneurship for students through educational and cultural exchange activities.

SEADS 2008 is an international conference to be held in Hanoi, Vietnam from November 30th to December 5th, 2008 with the cooperation and support from SEADS and the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Conference will include workshops, plenary sessions and the Creative Solutions Project on the theme “What can youngsters do for their country?”.

Coming to SEADS 2008, delegates will have a chance to meet their counterparts from other countries, successful businessmen, politicians, experts and youngsters, to talk and share ideas on development issues in Southeast Asia. The Conference is aimed at improving leadership and awareness of youngsters, and inspiring them to take on greater roles in their communities.

For these missions to be completed, we organizers really need the support from your university in promoting SEADS 2008 to your students. This can be done by writing or reporting about SEADS 2008 on the website and forum of your university, giving formal or informal notice or in any other ways, so that the students understand the activity and apply for it. We believe that the Conference will be an enriching experience for them.

The Southeast Asian Development at Stanford (SEADS) là một tổ chức sinh viên dưới sự ủy quyền của trường ĐH Stanford, Mỹ. Mục tiêu của SEADS là thúc đẩy khả năng lãnh đạo, quyền công dân và các hoạt động trao đổi văn hóa.

SEADS 2008 là một hội thảo quốc tế được tổ chức tại Hà Nội, Việt Nam từ 30 tháng 11 đến 5 tháng 12, 2008 với sự phối hợp và hỗ trợ từ SEADS và học viện ngoại giao Việt Nam, thuộc bộ ngoại giao. Hội thảo sẽ bao gồm các công việc thảo luận, các buổi họp về dự án giải pháp sáng tạo trên tiêu đề “Những người trẻ có thể làm gì cho đất nước của họ?”

Đến với SEADS 2008, các đại diện sẽ có cơ hội gặp gỡ với người cùng ngành, các doanh nhân thành công, các nhà chính khách, các chuyên gia và các bạn trẻ, để nói chuyện và chia sẻ ý tưởng về các vấn đề phát triển ở khu vực Nam (châu) Á. Hội thảo nhằm mục đích nâng cao khả năng lãnh đạo và ý thức của người trẻ cũng như truyền động lực cho họ tạo dựng những vị trí cao hơn trong xã hội.



<Để nhiệm vụ được hoàn thành, chúng tôi thực sự cần sự hỗ trợ từ phía Đại học để quảng bá về SEADS 2008 tới các sinh viên. Việc này có thể được thực hiện bằng bài viết hoặc các thông báo về SEADS 2008 trên website và forum của trường, đưa ra các chú ý bằng nhiều cách để sinh viên có thể hiểu được hoạt động và đăng kí. Chúng tôi tin rằng hội thảo sẽ làm giàu kinh nghiệm cho các sinh viên>
